Let me tell you about dealing with these amateurs on this site. We needed some minor graphic work done for some overflow work and after speaking by phone we choose to use a guy calling himself Scott R. Asher. Scott Asher was told and agreed to do some graphic work with the understanding that all graphics provided would include the editable files as well as the finished files. Now, we went and paid Scott Asher for his services even though he had not yet sent us the PSD files, which are the editable graphic files. We of course requested that he send those files and Scott R Asher of scottrsher.com promised to do so. He was asked in no less than 6 emails to send these files and he refused instead trying to basically keep the files so we would be forced to go to him anytime we need changes. This is something unethical web designers always do. Then Scott R Asher disappears for over a month. We can only imagine with Vegas being Vegas what Scott R Asher is smoking.
However the fact is that Scott R Asher of scottrasher.com took payment for finished products and editable files and fact is he has not provided the editable files. That’s fraud and a blatant rip off. Additionally we informed him that since he hasn’t sent the PSDs that he could just return our money and we would give Scott R Asher of scottrasher.com his original non-editable files back. He has refused to return our money.
What kind of flake do you have to be to believe you can take someones money and then not provide what they paid for? Scott R Asher of scottrasher.com agreed to provide PSDs and finish files for the money that Bureau 24 has already paid. Scott R Asher of scottrasher.com you have stolen $100 and didn’t provide the agreed upon service. You have provided just half of what you owe us for the $100 you have already received. Yet, this deluded clown wants to claim we owe him money? Seems that Scott R Asher owes Bureau 24 money since Scott R Asher did not provide the other half of the services he was already paid for.
This is sadly always the result of dealing with Craigslist. Finding competent people on Craigslist is like finding a needle in the hay stack. What kind of wacked out people think they can take money for X,Y and Z and then not deliver Y and Z but keep the money anyway? Then Scott R Asher of scottrasher.com wants to whine oh they aren’t paying me and they REFUSE to work with me.
God damn right we refuse to work with unethical slime like Scott R Asher. Scott R Asher has stolen $100 of our money and haven’t provided the service. Its real simple give us our money back.
I’ve begged my boss to do something about him and she just laughs at him and says he is a hack job and nothing she needs to engage with but I am so glad that you guys posted this. Scott r Asher is a low life junkie… I hope this warns others not to deal with him.
